J. Gordon and Betty M. Browning Scholarship

The J. Gordon and Betty M. Browning Scholarship annually recognizes one outstanding incoming graduate student in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. The recipient will have excelled academically and be in financial need. This award is used to assist those entering the program in their first year through their letter of offer.
About the award:
The scholarship was established in 2003 in the names of J. Gordon and Elizabeth (Betty) M. Browning to support graduate students in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. In recognition of their involvement with the University of Utah, the University Hospital dedicated the Browning Plaza and Auditorium to the Brownings in 1982.
