The Harvard David Hanks Scholarship

The Harvard David Hanks Scholarship provides up to $7,500 for the academic year (fall and spring) for a University of Utah student majoring in history with a focus in American history. The student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours, a sophomore, junior, or senior in the year that funding is received, carry a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher, a US citizen, and no prior history of the use or sale of illegal drugs. Preference will be given to non-resident students from Idaho. If no qualified applicants satisfy this condition, preference will be given to non-residents from other states outside of Utah.
