ASUU Scholarship

“For wellness and future success”

The ASUU Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded to students to support costs associated with academic and non-academic needs including basic needs, tuition, textbooks, commuting, housing, and food. The purpose of the scholarship is to support students’ overall wellness and ease the costs of being a student at the U, thus giving room for growth beyond financial means. Students are encouraged to apply and describe how this scholarship can best improve their wellness and chances of success in the future. Applicants are encouraged to request scholarship amounts in the range of $500 to $1000. Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded each semester.

• Applicant must be a student of ASUU for at least one (1) semester prior to applying for the ASUU Student Scholarship. That is, the applicant must be enrolled in classes and be a fee-paying student.
• Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher at the time of application
• Individuals who are receiving financial compensation from ASUU are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
• Applicants must be able to receive a scholarship from the University of Utah. If you have questions about your eligibility, contact Erica Andersen for an appointment.
