College of Health Hardship Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to deal with off-cycle requests for funding from students who are in emergency situations, particularly if they encounter a hardship that may cause them to drop from the program. Hardship funding is based upon the availability of funds. Awards are limited to no more than $1,000.00. The following are allowable expenses for the hardship scholarship: tuition, fees, room and board, textbooks, required supplies or materials for classes, transportation, child care, and unexpected medical expenses. Students must be enrolled full time, in each term that the scholarship is awarded, in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
