Winifred Hicks Scholarship American Indian Resource Center

This scholarship supports matriculated students from a federally recognized tribe who is engaged with either his or her tribe, or with the broader Native American Community. Provided by Dr. Richard Hunt, an alumnus of the University of Utah, this scholarship supports students from a federally recognized tribe who is engaged with his or her tribe, or with the Native American Community. Dr. Hunt received his master of science and PhD in psychology from the University of Utah, and went on to work in private practice and a variety of roles as a clinical psychologist. This scholarship is in honor of his grandmother, Winifred Hicks. This is a $2,000 one-time award for the 2022-2023 academic year.
