Primary Childrens Scholarship
The Primary Children’s Hospital Medical Executive Committee is committed to promoting equity and diversity amongst our healthcare colleagues. As part of this commitment, it is essential to provide educational opportunities for undergraduate learners with a desire to enter the healthcare field. Applicants will come from various backgrounds, where preference shall be given to students who demonstrate a commitment to impacting the American Indian/Native/indigenous, Pacific Islander, Black/Africa Diaspora, Asian/Asian American, and Latinx communities through working in the healthcare fields.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Entering freshman at the University of Utah during the 22-23 academic year
• Enrolled in a medically relevant course of study, including pre-med, nursing, psychology, nutrition, speech/hearing, and public health.
