WRC non-traditional Student School scholarship

A limited number of scholarships for non-traditional adult learners who are pursuing their first bachelor’s degree are available for the Academic Year 23-24. Non-traditional students are students who are returning to school after a 5 year gap. This doesn’t need to be consecutive (ie- graduated High School in 2002 and started college in 2007), but includes students who have a cumulative gap over 5 or more years. Each scholarship offered through the WRC has their own requirements regarding enrollment, grade point average, or matriculation. The WRC considers financial need when awarding scholarships. Students who wish to be considered should complete the FAFSA (Fafsa.org) by the opportunity deadline. If students aren’t able to complete the FAFSA online, they can submit a paper FAFSA to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Applications without the letter of reference will NOT be considered. Applications and one letter of reference must be uploaded to AcademicWorks by July 15th, 2023.
If you have any questions about the application process, please reach out to wrcscholarships@sa.utah.edu.
