American Indian Housing Scholarship Multi-Year

The College of Science is pleased to announce the American Indian Housing Scholarship (Multi-Year) valued at $15,000 per year for up to 4 years. Scholarship recipients will receive funding for fall and spring semesters that covers on-campus housing and a full meal plan.

Incoming freshman and current American Indian undergraduate students who are majoring in the College of Science (Majors: Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Environmental Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Physics) are encouraged to apply. Awardee must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and continue as a declared Science major for the scholarship to be renewable each year.

  • a current transcript
  • a letter of recommendation

  1. Write a personal statement expressing your interest in science and/or mathematics including academic and professional goals.
  2. List any pertinent accomplishments, awards, community involvement, activities, or recognition you have received or engaged in, if any.
  3. Have you endured or are you currently facing, any personal or financial hardships, or other special circumstances that you would like us to consider in our selection process?
  4. Letter of recommendation - letter of recommendation must be from a science or mathematics teacher.
  5. Please upload a copy (may be unofficial) of your transcripts from all colleges attended or high school transcripts for entering freshmen.
