The Ghulam-Lauri, Kergaye Qadar Family, Mohammed Alsolaiman Family and Zahir Family Scholarships

These scholarships are available to undergraduate students who have currently or recently demonstrated experience in serving and working with the Muslim community and currently attend the University of Utah or plan to enroll at the University of Utah full-time during the 2024/25 academic year. Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need. 

Qualifications

  • Must be an entering freshman, transfer, or continuing undergraduate student at the University of Utah
  • Has a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Exhibits motivation and commitment to school and the Muslim community as demonstrated through his/her academic performance, leadership, community service, and extracurricular activities
  • Enroll in 12 or more credits
  • Is seeking their first undergraduate degree. 
  • Complete a FAFSA prior to application submission (Students not eligible for FAFSA please contact FinancialAid@utah.edu or more information about an alternate form)
