An endowed scholarship was established in 2017 by Dr. Craig Proctor to honor Dr. Jay Aldous, his mentor and youth Scouting leader, for the many contributions that Dr. Aldous made to dentistry at the University of Utah and in the State of Utah. The award was established to bring continued recognition to Dr. Aldous for years to come. Those recipients of the award are encouraged, when they are able, to give back to the scholarship so that its benefit to others may grow over time.
