Gordon and Connie Hanks Scholarship

Gordon and Connie Hanks have been involved in the University of Utah since Gordon’s graduation in 1967. Gordon and Connie have been involved in the College of Fine Arts, the College of Music, and the Athletic Department, providing scholarships and other support. They also have created and grown the JazzSLC/GAM Foundation, a nonprofit Jazz series in Salt Lake City. Connie is an active member of the National Honors Advisory Board. Gordon and Connie generously created an Honors College Scholarship fund in 2021. Applicants must be a rising junior or senior, majoring in Fine Arts, and demonstrate commitment to attaining the Honors degree with high academic standing.
