Undergraduate Studies Transfer Scholarships

The Undergraduate Studies Transfer Scholarships provide seven $2,000 scholarships for incoming transfer students during the 2024/25 academic year. These scholarships include five Roger Leland Goudie and two Allen Foundation Endowed Scholarships. Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need and first-generation students. To be eligible for the Undergraduate Studies Transfer Scholarship students must:

  • Be an incoming student transferring to the University of Utah from an accredited college or university
  • Enroll full-time during the 2024-2025 academic year at the University of Utah
  • Demonstrate academic promise
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Be seeking their first undergraduate degree.
  • Complete a FAFSA before the scholarship deadline.

    Please submit a one-page personal statement discussing: "Why do you aspire to further your education at the University of Utah? How will this scholarship help you to achieve this goal?"

  2. Please submit an unofficial transcript for your previous institution.
