UOnline Scholarships

UOnline Scholarships are for nontraditional undergraduate or graduate students who fit school around their lives, not their lives around school. The ideal candidate is someone who is juggling work, family, and social obligations, and relies on the flexibility that online programs offer in order to complete their degree. Or, there could be invisible disabilities such as anxiety and depression which make in-person classes difficult.

Applicants will be asked to demonstrate how UOnline makes it possible for them to complete their degrees. Using an EDI lens, priority will be given to first-generation college students, parents and caregivers, and students who identify with historically underrepresented populations within their degrees. Consideration will also be given to job fields that require advanced degrees in order to achieve an increase in pay, like public school teachers and those in the healthcare field.

Applications open on November 1, 2024.

Supplemental Questions
  1. Which UOnline program are you enrolled in?
  2. In 500 words or less, please explain how UOnline will help you acheive your degree and how this scholarship assists you towards that goal.
