The One Refugee Endowed Scholarship
The One Refugee Endowed scholarship at the University of Utah is intended for refugee students or students who are the child of a refugee who are a resident of the state of Utah. This scholarship gives preference to students who are actively participating with One Refugee program and students enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits per semester). Eligible recipients of this award are encouraged to maintain a part-time position (10 hours per week), attend One Refugee events, and meet monthly with a One Refugee Education Manager. Recipients of this award are encouraged to complete an internship or research project.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Be a resident of the State of Utah;
- Commit to complete at least one internship or research project during your course of study prior to the last semester before graduation;
- Commit to work at least 10 hours per week;
- Commit to attend One Refugee events and meet monthly with the One Refugee Education Manager, or a substantially similar position;
- Preference will be given to students involved in the One Refugee program.
