WRC Summer Osher Re-entry Scholarship
The Osher Re-entry Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1977 by Bernard Osher to assist adult learners (non-tradiitional students) of all gender identities at The University of Utah who are pursuing their first undergraduate degree. This award is for the summer 2024 session.
Requirements:
- Must be matriculated with continual progression in your declared major toward earning your first Bachelor’s degree
- Have and maintain both a semester and cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.7 or greater
- Must have a gap of at least five years in your education. The gap may be consecutive or cumulative. (Example: graduated high school in 2010 and didn’t attend college until 2015 AND/OR attended college in 2010, stopped attending in 2012, and started attending again in 2015)
- Maintain full-time or part-time enrollment as defined by the Registrar’s office at The University of Utah for all award semesters
- Preference will be given to those with financial need as determined by federal guidelines

- If you answered yes to the previous question, please list the dates of your gaps. Please list years only (e.g. 2010-2015 or 2012-2014 and 2018-2021).
- Will you have completed 24 or more credit hours at the University of Utah or another higher ed. institution by fall 2025?
- Will you be enrolled Full-time for the 2025-26 Academic Year (Full-time is 12 credits for undergraduates, and 9 credits for graduate students)
