U Alumni Marching Band Leadership Scholarship
WIND PLAYERS:
U Alumni Marching Band Leadership Scholarship is awarded through the School of Music to students who have been selected as undergraduate student leaders enrolled in the University of Utah Marching Band in the Fall of 2024. To receive the scholarship, students must also enroll and participate in Pep Band for the Spring of 2025. To be eligible, students must be full-time University students with a cumulative GPA of 2.0, or higher. Students also must remain in good standing, demonstrating leadership of their fellow students in the marching band; attending rehearsals and performances with a minimum number of tardies and absences is essential for student and organizational success. Additionally, students should make every effort to participate in extra performances, when possible. Scholarship recipients are encouraged to create a profile in the Forever Utah Network.
Application is due by September 30, 2024.
The award will be paid out over two-semesters (one distribution in the fall of 2024 and a second in the spring of 2025.)
