Ivory Housing Scholarship

The Ivory Housing Scholarship is intended for Undergraduate students to help support students attending the U who are living in on-campus housing, university affiliated housing, or Ivory University House with housing related costs. There will be a preference for students who graduated from a Utah high school. There will be a preference for students who have demonstrated work experience and/or demonstrated experience with service including during high school, college, gap year, etc.

In addition to the above preferences, students with demonstrated financial need as determined by the 2024-2025 FAFSA during the time of initial application will be considered. All levels of need will be considered. Please complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA application at studentaid.gov if you are a U.S citizen or eligible non citizen. If you are not a U.S citizen or eligible non citizen then you are not able to complete a FAFSA and should contact the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid (financialaid@utah.edu) in order to complete a Financial Aid Estimator.

Scholarship funding will be split between the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 terms (if applicable).
This award excludes any family housing units within the University of Utah housing system.

This award is encouraging full-year attendance to accelerate graduation rates. More housing scholarships are available for those who intend to go full year. This scholarship is intended for continuing students. Scholarship opportunities for incoming freshmen will be available at a later date.

If I am offered this scholarship, I acknowledge I must maintain full-time enrollment status during fall and spring semester, and, If I opt to attend summer semester, at least 1 credit hour in the summer semester. During enrollment I must live in university-owned (HRE) or Ivory University House. I further acknowledge the housing scholarship amount will depend upon the length of my housing agreement of either 9 or 12 months; however, I recognize I may still be responsible for housing charges if I am not enrolled.
