CSAR Utah Opportunity Scholarship
The Utah Opportunity Scholarship at the University of Utah provides support to students who demonstrate financial need and who are first-generation, which means their parents/guardians have NOT received a bachelor’s degree. The goal is to help students achieve success through holistic support services via a cohort-based model. The cohort experience requires monthly meetings with a staff member at the University who is invested in student success, required socials and workshops with other cohort members, and academic support should a scholar need it. Additionally, this is a renewable scholarship and is available to students for up to 8 semesters as long as they continue to meet the requirements.
