College of Architecture & Planning Undergraduate Achievement Scholarship
The College of Architecture + Planning is establishing a new scholarship to recognize undergraduate students across the following pre-majors and majors in the College: Pre-Architecture, Pre-Design, Pre-Urban Ecology (Design Foundations), Architectural Studies, Multi-Disciplinary Design, Urban Ecology (**CA+P students in Games are supported through a separately administered Division of Games Student Scholarship. CA+P Undergraduate Achievement Scholarships will be awarded in Spring 2025 to recognize students that are striving for excellence while making connections between their learning and the College’s values/mission (the 4Rs): Responsibility, Resilience, Respect and Response: https://www.cap.utah.edu/vision/
Ten scholarships in the amount of $1000 will be awarded for the Spring 2025 semester.
*Eligibility and Criteria: *
• All applicants must be a current matriculating (currently enrolled) undergraduate students that are declared majors in one of the following academic programs: Design Foundations (pre-major student), Architectural Studies, Multi-Disciplinary Design, or Urban Ecology. • Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher by the conclusion of Fall 2024 semester. The committee will conduct a check of GPAs and grades.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance
• Demonstrate commitment to service in the College/community (academic departments, student organizations, community organizations, etc.)
• Demonstrate connections from your learning (activity or project grounded in action) that connects to one or more of the CA+P Values (the 4Rs).
