Les Chatelain Endowed Scholarship

Applicant Requirements:

  • Current Undergraduate student pursuing an Emergency Medical Services degree from the Department of Health & Kinesiology.
  • Be in good academic standing.
  • Demonstrate financial need.

This Endowment and associated scholarship will be named for Les Chatelain. A University of Utah graduate, Les Chatelain spent his entire career with the University, beginning as an athletic trainer in 1974. He joined the former Health Education department as faculty in
1989 and served as interim/chair for the Department of Health Promotion and Education from 2002-2016. The University is honored to remember Chatelain through this permanent endowment and scholarship.
