CHARTWELLS COMMUNITY IN ACTION HOUSING & RESIDENTIAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
Opens January 14, 2025
Please note: Student Leaders who receive Housing/Meal Plan compensation (including RA, CA, RHA) are not eligible for Housing scholarships. It is your responsibility to notify Housing & Residential Education at 801-587-2002 if you become ineligible to receive this scholarship.
The Chartwells Community in Action Scholarship provides emerging leaders with the opportunity to live on campus during their first year of college, with certain room and board expenses covered. Two incoming first-year (freshman) students are selected for the scholarship, which is awarded for one full academic year. Awardees are responsible for maintaining eligibility to receive the scholarship both Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.
Students are responsible for reserving their own room via Housing & Residential Education’s housing sign-up process.
Funding for this scholarship is a partnership between University Dining Services and Housing & Residential Education. The expectation is that the recipient will be actively engaged in leadership development activities throughout the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
