College of Architecture & Planning Undergraduate Achievement Scholarship
The College of Architecture + Planning has expanded this new scholarship to recognize undergraduate students across the following majors in the College: Architectural Studies (BA and BS), Games, Multi-Disciplinary Design, and Urban Ecology.
CA+P Undergraduate Achievement Scholarships will be awarded in Fall 2025 to recognize students that are striving for excellence while making connections between their learning and the College’s values/mission (the 4Rs) as well as the Utah Game’s Values:
Responsibility (Creativity & Play- Games Values)
Resilience (Community & Quality- Games Values)
Respect (Acceptance & Support- Games Values)
Response (Innovation, Iteration & Practice – Games Values)

Fifteen scholarships in the amount of $1000 will be awarded for the Fall 2025 semester. Applications for Fall 2025 semester are due Monday, October 20 by midnight.
Eligibility and Criteria:
• All applicants must be a current matriculating (currently enrolled) undergraduate students that are declared majors in one of the following academic programs: Architectural Studies, Games, Multi-Disciplinary Design, or Urban Ecology. NOTE: Current first year students 2025-2026 can still apply.
• Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher at the time of application (sophomore, juniors and seniors) OR by the end of the Fall 2025 term (First-year students only). The committee will conduct a check of GPAs and grades.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance
• Demonstrate commitment to service in the College/community (academic departments, student organizations, community organizations, etc.)
• Demonstrate connections from your learning (activity or project grounded in action) that connects to one of the CA+P Values (the 4Rs) or Utah Games’ Values.

• This scholarship is administered by the College of Architecture + Planning Scholarship & Awards Committee
• By applying, you allow the College of Architecture + Planning to verify your eligibility with the University of Utah Registrar records, Scholarship and Financial Aid Office, and the College of Architecture + Planning.
